Azizi Developments has laid the foundation for its first five-star hotel within Azizi Riviera in Mohammed Bin Rashid City, marking the beginning of the rollout of its AED 75 billion hospitality investment strategy. The development is one of ten hotel projects currently in design, development, or construction phases as part of a wider portfolio of 151 hotels across multiple categories. More than 90% of the portfolio will be located in Dubai and is expected to add around 60,000 room keys to the emirate’s hospitality capacity while creating over 75,000 jobs. A flagship component of the strategy will include a seven-star hotel within Burj Azizi on Sheikh Zayed Road, further strengthening Dubai’s position as a global tourism and luxury hospitality hub.
